2025年5月3日付の京都新聞・朝刊（美術面）にて、SHIFT80の写真展
「私たちの暮らしにようこそ。さあ、対話しましょう。」を掲載していただきました。

本展示は、京都大学・吉田寮にて開催され、ケニア・キベラスラムの若者たちとともに紡いできた日々のなかで見えてきた彼らの創造性を、写真と展示空間で表現したものです。
記事では、彼らのクリエイティビティや、生きる姿勢、そして展示空間で生まれていた対話の雰囲気を、丁寧に伝えていただきました。

取材・執筆を担当してくださった林屋記者、そして紙面を通してSHIFT80の取り組みを社会に届けてくださった京都新聞のみなさまに、心より御礼申し上げます。

On May 3, 2025, SHIFT80’s photo exhibition
“Welcome to Our Lives. Let’s Engage in Dialogue.”
was featured in the Kyoto Shimbun (morning edition, Arts section).

The exhibition, held at Kyoto University’s historic Yoshida Dormitory,
was a visual expression of the creativity and resilience of young people living in Kibera, Kenya—
captured through portraits and curated in a space designed to foster reflection and dialogue.

We are deeply grateful to journalist Mr. Hayashiya for his thoughtful reporting,
and to the Kyoto Shimbun team for sharing SHIFT80’s work with a wider audience.

※The exhibition in Kyoto successfully concluded on April 20.
